WORDS WITH KATRIN
Hi! My name is Katrin. I am a fifteen year old girl from the Faroe Islands – a tiny country way out in the north Atlantic. I live with my mum, dad, little brother and cat in the capital, Tórshavn.
I love to do pretty much any type of crafting, but polymer clay is definitely my favorite  When I am not crafting or making videos, I like to read and watch 'nerdy' movies – such as “The Lord of the Rings”, “Batman” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” - with my little brother.
I am currently in ninth grade, which is the last required year of school where I live. Next year I will be going to high school, majoring in social science, which I am very excited about :)

Katrin is a stunning craft artist with so much talent. She now has a total of over 2300 fans on her YouTube channel with over 100 000 in views. Katrin has the cutest polymer clay creations and I simply love her personality. She does not do your normal looking clay items, but takes a different twist to the things she makes which I find really refreshing. She is definitely one to watch in the craft scene.

WORDS WITH KIM
My name is Kim D Tran; the family consist of two older brothers and the parents and I am of Vietnamese nationality currently residing in Australia. Since coming into high school life hasn't been very smooth for me with lots of family and financial problems but somehow I'm still managing to pull through. I'm on my last year of University as a Medicinal Chemistry student but still don't know what life has in store for me.I've never been popular or fitted in anywhere but I'm happy with my small circle of friends. When starting to upload videos onto YouTube I felt like I've met people with similar interests for the first time. Even though I'm still a wee bit anti-social I'm so happy to have met all these people on the YouTube crafting community. Although I'm currently heading towards the science/pharmaceutical industry one of my dream jobs is still to open my own boutique that sells my own clothes and toys with a little cafe in the corner.

Kim, owner of Yimmo89 has garnered nearly 900 subsribers on YouTube and a total of over 31 000 views on her channel. She has quite the crafty hand with her amazing tutorials which are perfectly excuted and straight to the point which makes it really easy for beginners. I am especially inlove with her craft updates because everything she shows are made with such intricacy, you start to question if they are all from a dream. Kim's story intrigued me as she has used craft as an outlet to grow. Such an inspiration.

WORDS WITH BUBS
Hi, I’m B4Astudios' Bubs and I currently live in NYC! I cheated my way through High School to graduate early but always was a pro on computers and electronics. I love rodents and miss my hamster (RIP). Sometimes I think I have a voice that can sing and when that special feeling possesses my hand, I would do a traditional drawing on paper instead of on the PC. Playing the guitar is always fun to do, when I finally learn. I like to hug, so come and give me one!

Bubs, owner of B4Astudios was a real treat to find as he is creative, has a real talent for arts and crafts and is a guy! It is not everyday you are privileged to run across something this amazing. To date, Bubs has garnered a huge following of fans on his YouTube channel. With over 1400 subscribers and 100 000 views, he is surely the new favorite in the craft scene. He makes the cutest things and has a real flair for video editing. I was personally intrigued by the amount of time he put in his videos with animations to keep his audience engaged. A must see!

Aiko from Hapy Friends Shoppe

WORDS FROM AIKO
I am really just a 20 something who enjoys shamelessly plugging my name on the internet with crafty videos that are made to inspire and unite people of all ages, beliefs and differences. Craft is my life. I haven't a clue on where I would be if not for it. My life revolves around dreamlike fantasy creatures with big googly 'kawaii' eyes that often translates into my felt tutorials and made immortal with a needle and thread. I have a quirky fashion sense which defines my style and I speak 6 languages just so to confuse my friends who are often wide eyed when I do so.

Aiko has over 5800 subscribers on YouTube with more than a quarter million views. Aiko channels her energy into making felt craft and fashion related tutorials for her viewers. Her blog has almost 100 000 views since her debut on the internet in 2012.  Aiko prides herself in making videos that are dreamlike and ethereal. She transports her viewers into a world of fantasy and creativity with her video editing and has soft mellow music to set the mood just right as she mentioned in her interview with me. She creates the most beautiful jewelry pieces I have ever seen and it was my honor indeed to stumble upon her channel on YouTube.

Amy from LittleSurprisesYT

WORDS WITH AMY

My name is Amy, I'm currently in my second year in college and I've always loved art since I was 2 years old. It probably started out as a bad habit since I used to take pens and draw all over the clean, white walls (my grandparents and parents weren't too fond of that, might I add)! Growing up, I was always curious about everything: writing, drawing, painting, singing, playing different instruments, conducting experiments the whole lot! My favorite art mediums to date would be pen&ink, acrylic painting and polymer clay crafting. You can call me a nerd, I practically freak out if I do poorly on anything and always strive to do better next time. Even now that I'm in college, I still love the same things I did when I was 2, if not more! Academically, I have chosen to major in the sciences and hope to go into the health profession. Still, my family and friends have always been supportive and urge me to continue the arts. To keep this short, don't think that doing one thing that you love means giving up something else. If you love both, you'll make it happen :). I love my family  my friends and my subscribers and I would define myself as being optimistic, ambitious and a DIY lover. But tell me, what would you like to know about me? I would love to get to know my subscribers better and have them get to know who I am!

Amy is such a significant figure to the polymer clay making community. I have watched a good bunch of videos  which are done by other big craftubers about Amy and all of them had only nice things to say about her and her work. She mainly focuses on polymer clay crafts and has garnered over 7700 subscribers on her YouTube channel with over 170 000  views on her videos alone. Amy is a sure winner if you are looking for creative polymer clay making tutorials which are clear, to the point and fun to watch. She makes the cutest characters into little food and has a whole fresh take on polymer clay making.

Carmen from CarmenPay Craft

WORDS WITH CARMEN

I'm just a normal girl who just joined the craft community around June last year. I love to try all kinds of craft but I totally love to make plushies because they are cute. I make felt plushies and also amigurumi. I love both as much but amigurumi takes more time than felt plushies. I wish to share with everyone my love for craft.

Carmen is such a colorful and cute Asian girl who originates from Malaysia and recently started doing voice over tutorials to further engage her viewers with higher quality tutorials. She has over 830 subscribers on YouTube and it is so clear that all her fans absolutely love her work. Carmen has a different take on the things that she makes and from what I see, she loves fairy tales and translates them into mini felt and amigurumi plush toys. Her recent dedication to her subscribers by taking a step forward and trying voice over tutorials shows how passionate she is about spreading the word of craft on YouTube and is absolutely  amazing ! Definitely worth the subscribe for a rising star with talent like  hers.

WORDS WITH TAMMY
Hi! My name is Tamara Hallam, but most people know me as Tammy. I am 17 years old, I live in England with my Mum, Dad, brother and sister and I love sewing, painting, DIY and pretty much anything craft related! Online I am most well known for making kawaii plushies from felt.  I started making youtube videos 18 months ago, and since then youtube has become a major part of my life. Offline I am a college student; I study Art, French and Politics, and next year I am going on to study French and Mandarin Chinese at university.

Tammy has over 16 000 subscribers on her YouTube channel with over 2 million views and counting. She mainly teaches felt craft on her channel and on occasions, she shares her artsy videos with her viewers. Tammy has spent over 1 year building her channel and is now one of the pioneers in plush toy making tutorials. Tammy is all over YouTube where felt is related and I finally understood why when I finally decided to drop by her colourful channel. She transforms everyday things into plush toys and has one of a kind tutorials that you can only find on her channel. She is dedicated, friendly and probably one that understands her viewers by catering to their needs as she juggles with her daily 'offline' activities as she would have liked to call it.

Chelsie From RagPrincessSews

Words From Chelsie
Hi, I'm Chelsie! I usually go by UnluckyPrincess or RagPrincessSews online. I'm 24 years old and live in the great Northwest of the United States. I grew up with crafty aunts (Dad's side) and a very crafty mother, so it has forever been in my blood. Art class usually was my favorite subject; and throughout school I was always known as the creative one. In my late teens I really struggled on what I wanted to do with my life, but my passion has always been with the creativity that crafting has to offer. After graduating high school, I ended up going straight into a local community college and got my Associates in Technical Arts for Integrated Multi-Media, majoring in film making. My dream job is to be a writer, director, and producer of major motion pictures, just like my primary inspiration Tim Burton. But after college I had a really hard time finding work. I got interviewed at a movie theater and Michaels craft store, but never got the call back. I ended up just filling all my time with crafting. I got into polymer clay for the first time, then back into plush making, and then eventually amigurumi. But about two years ago my grandma went through a lot of struggles with her health. So last year I ended up leaving my parents place to move in and take care of her. It's been very stressful but I use my love of crafting as medicine to get me through the hard times.

Chelsie who makes videos as RagPrincessSews on YouTube is a talented, well rounded craft artist. She does all sorts of crafts and has a creative channel to prove it. To date, Chelsie has over 600 subscribers on YouTube and has garnered over 30 000 views. She channels her energy into teaching people of all ages and is definitely worth a watch. Her high quality tutorials and easy step by step guide makes it easy for amateurs to follow and takes the time to answer questions which are posted on her videos.
